A write-up about the BukasPalad Concert

COMING OUT OF A CAVE
Jason Escartin

Before that night, I didn’t even know of Bukas Palad.

Surprisingly, many people were already celebrating its 20th year of existence!

But not only that.

I didn’t even know that we seminarians have been singing songs made by them!

We have been singing I will Sing Forever forever.

That concert introduced me to new things. i enjoyed them, particularly Hangganan and

O Hesus Aking Kaibigan.

With that experience, I came out of an old cave, and saw day.

That night at the Gesu changed me.
