A Visit from Music Leaders

19 July 2007. Fr. Ante SBC and music coordinators from the Salesian Parish of Mary Help of Christians from Mayapa, Laguna, came to the Jesuit Music Ministry for an educational tour. Fr. Jboy SJ introduced them to the Jescom community, and gave a short talk on liturgical music. They were able to meet Frs. Manoling Francisco SJ and Fr. Arnel Aquino SJ.

Himig Heswita’s "Come to Jesus"

20 July 2007. Himig Heswita and friends had a healing concert called, “Come to Jesus” at the Cardinal Sin Center, LST. It was a concert for those who were sick, including the terminally ill. Moreover, the concert was for Fr. Arnel Aquino SJ, who is going for studies in the US.

Rehearsals Galore

19 July 2007. One of the busiest months in the life of people in JMM is July. This month, we have two concerts: Hangad’s acapella and Himig Heswita’s Healing Concerts. Himig Heswita’s healing concerts on July 20 & 22 at the Cardinal Sin Center of Loyola School of Theology have been sold out. Since the events are for the sick, we expect all sorts of people suffering different ailments. Many of them are terminally ill. In this month’s concert we bid Fr. Arnel Aquino goodbye, before he leaves for special studies in the US. Here is the night before the first concert at 730 PM.
